Alejandra Hernández: Mi nuevo lugar predilecto en Bogotá. El hostel es super familiar sin ser intrusivo. Es decir, puedes sentarte a hablar un rato y disfrutar la compañía de grandiosas personas, pero también puedes decidir descansar y realmente sentir que tienes privacidad porque los dormitorios tienen unas cabinas cómodas y amplias. Además, realizan muchas actividades a las que te puedes unir y conocer gente. Amé lo limpio que es, y la atención del staff, desde los voluntarios hasta los trabajadores de otros servicios. La estación Rosas del TransMilenio apenas a 3 minutos a pie. Muy buen barrio, tranquilo y con facilidad de supermercados y restaurantes. Volveré seguro.
Igor Gierymski: The really low of price of 65000 COP per night for a private room with private bath seemed too good to be true, but I decided to give them a try for one night. My suspicions were soon confirmed to be true. The private room upstairs above the reception has two beds with equally dysfunctional deformed mattresses that probably date back to the 1980s. I tried alternately sleeping on both of them and the floor. As other reviews have mentioned, the place is noisy as hell. Needless to say, I did not get a good nights rest. The cherry on the cake is that they tried to charge my credit card after I checked out, even though I paid for the room when checked in.

Frankie Sky-Walker: The location is in Chapinero which is a much safer neighborhood than Centro. It is accessible by public transport and surrounded by many good restaurants.The bed if super comfy and the patio has great ambience day and night.The staff are the best part of the hostel. They make the hostel home away from home. You feel welcomed from check-in to departure. Careen is always caring and smiling. Pablo is really great organizing some fun activities to make your stay more enjoyable. Diego and Ramiro can answer all your questions and provide important tips for your travel. I’ll certainly miss the whole crew and stay with them if I come back to Bogota!

Sara S: Das Hostel hat mir anfangs gut gefallen, die Betten sind gross mit Vorhängen, schöner Aussenbereich. Bietet Aktivitäten an, es gibt gratis Kaffee. Duschen sind mässig, nur ein Bad für Frauen pro Etage ist zu wenig.Als ich nach dem Check-Out meinen Laptop bei der Rezeption lassen wollte anstatt im Gepäckraum, liess die Frau von der Rezeption das nicht zu und kam mir nicht entgegen.Die Angestellten sind nicht vertrauenswürdig, ich habe dort meine Wäsche gewaschen und es fehlte eine teure Hose. Als es mir auffiel, ging ich ins Hostel zurück und fragte nach, ob die Hose gefunden wurde. Mir wurde gesagt, es wurde überall gründlich gesucht aber nichts gefunden, ich hätte sicher die Hose selber verlegt oder sie sei mir beim Packen runtergefallen. Ich fühlte mich vom Personal nicht ernst genommen. Erst als mein Freund wütend wurde, brachten sie mir plötzlich die Hose und sagten sie war im Bett. Ich habe das Hostel seit einer Woche verlassen, ich denke beim Bett neu beziehen und putzen fällt einem eine Hose im Bett auf?! Nicht glaubwürdig.Es ist schade und macht mich traurig, dass unsere Erfahrung so getrübt wurde. Kann das Hostel nicht empfehlen.

Worldtravellerz On the Road: Was very impressed with this hostel since it is well priced and in a great area for exploring. They provide delicious Colombian coffee in the morning and the beds are super comfortable. The only downside is that the lockers were not secure and some were even broken, not ideal if you have valuables. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in La Candelaria

Mr. Tom!: I remember this place from 7 years ago. Back then the paint was a bit fresher. Still nice and safe. Good place to meet people. They also have a nice bar to have a brew and meet fellow travelers.
Jori van den Hoogen: Not worth it.Pictures on google do not resemble the state of the place! Checkin terribly slow due to slow system... We booked a 4 person dorm but this was not free. Sheets were old with dirty spots on them. Very noisy due to the parties in the front of the building. Also the bathrooms were only cleaned once a day max.We wanted to switch to a private room which was not possible because of their “system”. Apparently this hostel does not even want to earn money because the room was free on hostel world.Better to spend your money on a nicer more social and cleaner hostel in bogota.
chris willemse: Personeel is communicatief niet sterk, niet capabel en denkt totaal niet mee met de gasten. Privé kamers zijn vrij, maar omdat we via hostelworld hebben geboekt voor een dorm kunnen we alleen een privé kamer krijgen als we zowel voor een dorm als privé kamer gezamenlijk betalen. Bijbetalen voor een privé kamer zit er helaas niet in.Daarnaast zitten er grote ramen in de kamerdeur waardoor de kamer snachts hartstikke licht is. Daarnaast was de dorm zo klein en de kast erin zo groot dat het onmogelijk was om je tas te openen..Bedden zijn ook vies, gele en zwarte vlekken op het dekbed. Kamer ruikt muf, kan niet op slot en er zitten geen kluisjes in de kamer...
T. Annys Rose: If you’re looking for a place to party and meet other travelers, this is your place! The location in La Caldera is fantastic, easy access to dining and shopping! The bed was pretty rough for us and the noise was a lot. Not as clean of space as we prefer, but overall good experience!
Zach: Place was ok. Room was very cramped and the floor felt like it was going to fall through. Has good security and they guy at the desk was nice. Stayed 2 nights and that was a fine amount of time. Did not spend a ton of time at the hostel.
Ella Hirsch: You get what you pay for here. Rooms are quaint but nice. Sheets smell a little bit odd. Bathroom was clean and had paper half the time. I did enjoy staying here overall. Service is okay and the bar had karaoke on new years eve. Not a lot of space to relax or be cozy outside of your room. Nice location.
Benjamin Hirsch: Took a long time to check in. The main room for socializing was small. Noise travels very easily throughout the hostel. I was charged more for fireworks on new year's eve than they said it was. The man at the front desk didn't turn the music down when we tried talking to him. Rooms were small and bland. Check out Cranky Croc if you want a good time.

Julien Chemin: J’ai trouvé l’hôtel un peu trop calme pour moi, même si l’isolation n’est pas terrible. Je m’attendais à un Hostel parti. Je me cependant la note de 5 car Chaves était vraiment dévoué à son travail et m’a vraiment permis de passer un bon séjour. Je pense qu’il mérite du repos. Je recommande cette Hostel. Si vous voulez être tranquille dans le centre de la ville, sans trop de bruit.

Andre Lopez: Queda relativamente cerca del movistar arena, siempre me hospedo cuando voy a conciertos porque casual siempre esta cerca de todos ellos, tambien porque me gustan las capsulas y sus camas son muy comoditas, pero esta area no es recomendable para caminar en las tardes porque es muy solo, en el mañana si hay mucho estudiante
Tommy Daigle: Nice place to stay near Chapinero. The hostel is very clean, the common areas are nice, the staff is helpful (despite the language barrier), there is hot water in the showers and there is a locker provided which each bed (some are drawers requiring your own lock). The only downsides would be that the bed curtains aren't thick enough neither full length so they provide some intimacy but do not block much light (even from the bed lamps of other beds) and the beds (at least ours) would shake everytime someone walks in the room (but I guess that comes with staying in a historical house). Overall, a great hostel to stay in Bogota if you don't mind being a little bit far from La Candelaria :)

Ian Terei: Es un Hostel divino, su estructura y diseño son muy acogedores. El personal es muy amable y cordial, las chicas de recepción hacen un muy buen trabajo.Los baños tienen agua caliente y siempre están limpios.Hay una cocina equipada muy linda en donde puedes dejar tus cosas marcadas, además cuenta con un Lobby donde puedes trabajar muy cómodo.Las camas son super cómodas y tienen una cortina que te da privacidad.100% recomendado, espero volver pronto!!!

Pit Abilud: Good clean hostel with warm water to take a shower ;) staff very helpfully even if someone not speak english we always soultion problem. They help me order local taxi becauze my uber doesn't work. Even if taxi driver do not want $ only peso, we call to another taxi and driver accept it. I have very warm relation to Colombian people because they are welcome me very warm. I be the best mbasador Colombia in europe now ;) see you soon ;)

Alexander G: Personal grosero y prepotente, nunca saben nada de lo que se le pregunta, y dijeron que no habían camas mientras que en Booking sale que hay disponibilidad. No lo recomiendo pésima experiencia, cobran 6 mil pesos por la toalla, hay otros hostales que por un mejor precio tienen desayuno incluido y no cobran por la toalla. No volveré nunca más!

En cambio la recepcionista que nos atendió a la mañana fue un amor.Si cambian a la de la noche volvería sin duda

L m: This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in in my life (and I’ve stayed in a LOT…). Patricia and Gabriel are wonderful and make you feel at home, always calling you by your name and chatting with you in the kitchen. It feels like a little family, like visiting your aunt for holidays not staying in a hostel. Would absolutely recommend it to everyone - if I ever come back to Bogotá this is where I will be staying without a doubt.

Lou-Anne Picot: Nos hôtes étaient vraiment très attentionnés (il n'y a pas eu un matin sans qu'on me demande comment j'ai dormi!), et l'emplacement est parfait pour visiter La Candelaría et le centre de Bogotá. Le jardin est super agréable pour se poser en fin de journée. Tout était très propre, et les lits sont très confortables. La réception était ouverte 24/7. J'ai aussi adoré le cours de salsa donné par Gabriel le samedi soir ! Merci pour tout, super première expérience de l'hospitalité colombienne❤️

Barnaby Kirsen: Superb king-size bed with walk in shower and private bathroom. Great outdoor space and bar with reasonably priced food. Good kitchen facilities too. Very helpful, friendly staff. 2 mins walk from Botero and 5 mins from Plaza. Quiet at night. Best hostal I have ever stayed in.
Alexander Rey: The staff was friendly and professional, its cleand and refurbished, downside majority of bedrooms don't have a private toilet, is uncomfortable to go down for showers and toilet , hot water. The security has been also something to highlight, my friend left my mistake the phone on top of the bed, with a lapsus of cleaning period , we came back to the hostel and despite they were willing to help us the phone was stolen, it didn't pass too much time just the cleaning time .

Paulin Mubarak: Un endroit génialement situé, au beau milieu du quartier historique (SAFE !), en hauteur au-dessus de Bogotá. Tout le staff est A-DO-RABLE ! Tous gentils comme des anges, souriants, petit plus pour Johanna et sa super playlist ! Ils sont hyper arrangeants, on a prolongé 2x et nous avons pu garder nos lits ! Génial ! La terrasse est assez grande pour boire un verre le soir, écouter la playlist de Johanna, manger un bout, etc. Il y fait bon vivre, l'ambiance est vraiment bonne et un petit plus encore pour le plafond-sol en toile où les voyageurs peuvent se reposer, lire un livre, regarder un film sur un pc portable.Vraiment un super séjour dans un petit coin de paradis !Gracias por todos !Habitaciones: Dortoir : Une prise, une lampe ppur chaque lit. Elena Fortunato: Nos hospedamos 1 noche, el recepcionista fue muy amable. Las camas son muy cómodas y con edredón, con cortina que te dan mucha intimidad. Baños y instalaciones limpias. Dispone de una pequeña cocina y una sala común muy chula con unas hamacas gigantes que cuelgan de la pared. El bar tiene muchas opciones de comer/desayuno/beber muy económico. Nos guardaron las mochilas y nos dejaron estar todo el día hasta tarde ya que nuestro bus salía a las 00.

Jade Rello: Worst hostel ! I'm used to doing it as a backpacker and I don't care about the comfort.I have never seen such a poor service and welcome.Let's not even talk about the cleanliness. The toilets are full of toilet paper on the floor. The showers are clogged and full of hair. If you want to get fungus this is the place to be. The icing on the cake is that we waited more than 20 minutes with 5 other people in front of the hostel and in the rain for them to open. The receptionist didn't even apologize and just let us know that he was at the bar !!. Strange because from the bar, cameras show the outside of the hostel... After the rain, we were soaked and asked to pay to use the tumble dryer. The same person told us that it was not possible because the woman who takes care of it is not there. It's not that difficult to press a button! I even offered to do it myself but he refused! Never seen that before.Concerning the bedding, the pillows are 2 mm thick and it takes -15 degrees in the rooms with a nauseating smell.In short, I strongly advise against it.

Benjamin Martinez: A great place with excellent attention from the employees. All of them were very nice to us. There was a incident with a friend who paid, but the recepcionist on turn didn't register it, so they kept on saying it was our fault. They never showed us the videos of the cameras to see if it was true. My friend was sure she paid, she even received the change from the guy.There was another incident. we consumed something at the bar, but it wasn't reflected on our accound when we were about to leave the hostel. I had to tell the same guy that we had a pending account which i wanted to pay, and i did. But they had no idea about it, i don't know why. Maybe they should change their payment system. Because it's not 100% eficient.

Irina Babich: Airport is not far, however, taxi is as expensive to this hostel as to anywhere downtown. The only other option is to take the bus (need to have a bus card) and then walk around 15-20 minutes. The area is not so nice, particularly at night. Shared bathrooms and the beds did not feel freshly cleaned. Fresh and clean was really only reception area. The breakfast was really marginal (not too good). Value for money is not so great, considering the options you can stay for the same price in the central Bogota.On a good note - The hostel staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. IN the kitchen it is possible to find some tools and make a simple meal. Wi-fi was working and few common areas to spend a couple of hours.

Ricardo Prins: Had 5 dagen van tevoren een kamer geboekt, zowel via Hostelworld (incl. Vooruitbetaling) als per mail ook bevestiged door het hostel dat het oké was dat ik rond 11:30 pm pas aan zou komen. Volgende dag zou ik alweer om 5.30pm naar het vliegveld gaan, dus een verblijf voor een korte nacht. Eenmaal aangekomen, hadden ze geen plek vanwege een zogenaamde fout in hun systeem. Ze konden ook geen alternatief bieden als verblijf dus daar sta je dan. Uiteindelijk werd mij een hostel aangeraden, wat dichtbij was. Na anderhalve maand door Colombia te hebben gereisd, ben ik er vrij zeker van dat deze aanrader het minste hostel was waar ik heb gezeten, Casa Blanca. En waar ik 80.000 pesos voor heb moeten betalen. Al met al, een slechte ervaring en weinig slaap.

Elora Vink: Don't stay here, this hostel has bedbugs. If you look at previous Google reviews you can clearly see that this an ongoing issue that they have not addressed. As well, the upstairs bathroom leaked water all over the floor of our bedroom.
HUS: Personal freundlich, Duschen funktionierten nicht, Wasserhahn und Spülung ebensowenig (Wasserkessel stand zur Verfügung, Dach undicht (regnet in Wohnbereich), sehr viele braune Flecken auf Bettwäsche. Frühstück haben wir nicht probiert.
MARIA JUDITH CARMONA HIGUITA: Para estancias de una sola noche suele ser agradable, porque está cerca del aeropuerto, las habitaciones son cómodas y tienen espacios compartidos con todo lo que se necesita. Sin embargo, el hostel es más para socializar que para descansar, es muy ruidoso ya que los huéspedes no respetan las normas de ruido, lo que dificulta poder descansar. Si no te importa el ruido o lo que quieres es fiesta, este es tu lugar. De lo contrario, piénsalo dos veces.
